The Key

{ you suppose you are the trouble...

but you are the cure.

you suppose that you are the lock on the door...

but you are the key that opens it.

it's too bad that you want to be someone else...

you don't see your own face, your own beauty.

yet, no face is more beautiful than yours.} RUMI

Just something to think about. Inspired by RS's blog.

My love of fuzzy socks

I know I needed a new blog entry. I thought, I pondered, I tried--I really did! But it is January. It is 10 degrees outside. We have all had the stomach flu and now are battling colds. Nothing new, exciting or even interesting. January is the worst month--so I thought "self, what makes you happy on these dreary days?" And FUZZY SOCKS was my answer. Fuzzy socks are wonderful. They are fuzzy. They cover your cold feet. They are very warm and mine are blue. I wear them every day. I love them everyday. I launder them about every other day and miss them desperately while they are being washed, but soon they come out of the dryer--clean, smelling like Downey, soft and FUZZY. If you don't have a pair, you need one. Go get one. They will make you happy and they will keep your toes warm on these cold winter days. A new blog entry--done!

Goodbye to Our dear President Hinckley

Thank you for your tireless service, your amazing example, your humor, your compassion, your leadership and your love. You will be missed dearly in this household and the world over! The world has lost a tremendous leader and our church has lost its beloved president, but we know there is more after this life and tonight you are with your dear wife, Marjorie. Our heartfelt love and sorrow goes out to your family. For our friends, who aren't members of our faith, we would love to answer any questions you might have or go to www.lds.org for more info.
